SLAS2019 Short Course Program

The SLAS2019 Short Course Program provides pre-conference, in-depth instruction on topics, issues and techniques critical to the laboratory science and technology community. Short courses will be presented on Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, USA.

Short Course Only registration is available; you need not be registered for the SLAS2019 International Conference and Exhibition to attend a short course but must register for the individual course(s) that you wish to attend.

Important Note Regarding Course Materials:

  • Courses below listed as 'Laptop Required' require registrants to bring their own computer. Internet and charging stations are provided free of charge in each course room. Software specifics are included within each individual course description. SLAS does not provide computers for course participants.
  • Printed course materials (books, handouts, etc.) will not be available for SLAS2019 Short Courses. Registered participants will receive access to download materials for the individual course(s) for which they are registered in advance of SLAS2019 and should plan to either print these materials on their own or to bring their own laptop or tablet device to view and take notes within the electronic (PDF) materials during their course. Charging stations will be available for student laptops/devices free of charge in all SLAS2019 course rooms.
